The Palm Sunday Litany in Corfu, takes place in the town centre. It starts at 11:00 at the church of Saint Spyridon after the Divine Liturgy. It's the largest procession, both in time and distance covered, and follows the route of the old city walls. The procession was established in 1629 to celebrate the island being free from the plague.
