Porto Timoni is one of the few unpoilt beaches left on the island. This double beach, separated by a thin strip of land, on the west coast of Corfu is near the picturesque village of Afionas.

You can access it by foot or by boat. If you are walking there, the 30-minute hike down starts from the village of Afionas and it's fairly steep and rocky. For this reason, it's best to wear trainers and comfortable shoes. You will also be able to stop along the way and enjoy some truly stunning viewing points.

Best to bring your own drinks and snacks as none are sold on the beach.
