Giali beach is located on the west of the island, near Ermones beach in the area of Giannades.

It's a stunning, clean beach with crystal clear waters. 

If you are planning to walk there, be aware, it's a steep climb down, using ropes and old ladders in some parts; for this reason, it's probably best to wear comfortable shoes/trainers. 

You can drive to Cape Plaka and then walk the rest of the path down with caution.

It may be harder to get down to the beach, but it's certainly worth it once you're there.

If, however, you would rather not hike down, you can always catch a taxi boat from the beach in Ermones, which you can also arrange to pick you up at a certain time. This is the best option if you have children with you.
