Danilia is a unique replica of a traditional Corfiot village. With a very traditional and authentic feel to it, it attracts hundreds of visitors each year. Almost destroyed by an earthquake in 1953, it was rebuilt as a museum/park by the Boua family in the ‘70s. Movies such as James Bond “For your eyes only” and, more recently, the TV series “The Durrells” have been filmed here.

Danilia boasts two open air village squares, a beautiful church, a traditional café, a large open air tavern and the largest indoor tavern on Corfu Island.
